- Assist the teacher in the classroom in the development and implementation of appropriate educational programs and services
- Make preparations for classroom activities as directed by a licensed teacher
- Work individually or with small groups of students to reinforce instruction
- Supervise testing and make-up work under the direction of the teacher
- Guide independent study, enrichment work and remedial work as established by the teacher
- Maintain ethical behavior and confidentiality
- Participate in in-service training programs as assigned
- Attend to self-help needs of students
- Supervise students during bus loading and/or unloading, playground, cafeteria, and other activities
