Qualifications and Desired

Experience:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification
• Experience or strong interest in preschool or mild/moderate learning disabilities
• Proficient in developing and implementing IEPs
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with families, staff, and students
• Ability to create engaging, differentiated instruction
• Organizational skills to manage caseload documentation and compliance

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct instruction tailored to accommodate student learning differences
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom community
• Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student progress and needs
• Use data-driven methods to assess and support student growth
