Job SummaryThe Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing all U.S. warehouse operations across three locations, including a primary distribution center in Madison, IN, and smaller satellite facilities in Shreveport, LA and Salt Lake City, UT. This role ensures efficient receiving, warehousing, and shipping activities while maintaining optimal inventory levels and accuracy. This position directly supervises three Warehouse Supervisors and indirectly leads a team of 30+ employees.
The Warehouse Manager drives operational excellence, safety compliance, workforce development, and continuous improvement initiatives to support SuperATV’s fast‑paced aftermarket manufacturing and distribution environment. This role plays a key part in improving outbound shipping efficiency, packaging effectiveness, and overall fulfillment cost discipline.
- Promote and enforce a strong safety culture across all facilities.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety standards, policies, and procedures.
- Conduct regular safety audits, training sessions, and risk assessments.
- Lead incident investigations and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping across all locations.
- Own execution of outbound fulfillment performance across all facilities.
- Ensure on‑time and accurate order fulfillment while meeting customer service and productivity standards.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) including on‑time ship rate, order accuracy (pick/pack accuracy), cost per order shipped, and damage/return rate due to fulfillment.
- Oversee packaging and packing standards to ensure product protection, cost efficiency, and consistency across all facilities.
- Partner with Product, Engineering, and Purchasing teams to support packaging requirements for new product launches.
- Monitor and drive a reduction in damage rates through improved packaging methods and quality control processes.
- Identify opportunities to reduce packaging material costs and waste while maintaining product protection standards.
- Ensure proper packaging selection based on product size, fragility, and shipping method.
- Support packaging testing and validation processes to ensure durability in transit.
- Execute daily shipping operations across parcel carriers including UPS, Fed Ex, and other providers.
- Execute day‑to‑day carrier operations in partnership with Logistics, with responsibility for warehouse‑level performance and issue resolution.
- Ensure compliance with carrier requirements, labeling standards, and shipping documentation.
- Identify and reduce common cost drivers such as dimensional weight charges, oversize fees, and shipping errors.
- Maintain accurate inventory levels through cycle counts, physical inventories, and system audits.
- Ensure proper inventory controls, location accuracy, and product traceability.
