** ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS INCLUDE:
** Direct accountability for overseeing Installation, repair, and maintenance activities of all facilities, and infrastructure machinery and systems necessary for the daily operations. Assist as needed with the activities of Safety and other related environmental tasks. Provide supervision and direction to the Maintenance Technicians. Maintain and issues daily job assignments, record and evaluate the results of Preventative Maintenance information. Provide assistance to departments requiring Maintenance support needs.

Provide assistance to Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering and Quality as it relates Maintenance resource needs. Develop and maintain schedules of Maintenance planed work and maintains records that ensure that all equipment will be kept maintained and serviced. Assists with safety inspections and audits along with action plans. Ensure all employees have a safe environment in that all hazards, unsafe actions, or unsafe conditions have been identified, corrected, and/or eliminated.

Enforce safety rules, policies, and procedures consistently, and respond to and investigate all reports of accidents or injuries in a timely manner. Thoroughly train new employees, correct or commend employee's health and safety performance, and conduct adequate performance appraisals by evaluating an employee's safety performance. Display a positive attitude towards safety and lead by example that will result in a safe and healthful workplace for all who work at Vehicle Service Group.

Ensures that Health, Safety, and Environmental standards are adhered to in accordance to Occupational Health & Safety Act. Work with MRO Team on spare parts activities which include inventory control, inventory reorder points, minimum/maximum stock quantities, and parts ordering. Ensure that spare parts material requirements are readily available to support Maintenance activities and the manufacturing operation, including shutdowns, CAPEX and special projects.

Contact vendors for pricing, availability and delivery timelines. Work with MRO Team to Expedite delivery of equipment repair materials to support emergency situations. Assist MRO Team obsolete inventory removal and reconcile inventory values. Maintain inventory accuracies through an established cycle count policy and procedures. Analyze and solve equipment part issues dealing with component interchangeability and premature failure by locating and establishing alternate suppliers.
