Job Description

To ensure the efficient and accurate movement and handling of materials within the facility, supporting smooth production operations while maintaining a safe and organized work environment.

• Completes work orders, records, marks, packs, weighs, ships or stores product.
• Adheres to established production schedules.
• Follow guidelines as established by customer for quality control of items being manufactured and assembled.
• Report work-concurrent accidents, illness, and/or injuries are handled in appropriate manner and proper documentation is completed as required by DSI.
• Ability to work with varied population.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and deadlines.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas to ensure a safe and efficient workspace.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management to support the overall success of the production team.

• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
• Knowledge & ability to read production schedules & work orders
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in production work.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math and communication skills.
• Ensure confidentiality.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Proven experience in a production or warehouse environment preferred.
  
  Must have excellent oral and written communication skills and maintain confidentiality with sensitive information.
• Maintain a valid Indiana driver’s license, insurance on personal vehicle (minimum of PLPD with medical liability coverage), and maintain insurability as defined by the agency liability insurance carrier.
