We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Industrial Production Planner to join our manufacturing team on the first shift. This role is essential in coordinating production schedules, optimizing manufacturing processes, and ensuring seamless supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in production management, supply chain analytics, and ERP systems, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and operational excellence.

This position offers an opportunity to play a pivotal role in maintaining efficient plant operations and supporting quality manufacturing standards.

Duties
  • Develop and maintain detailed production schedules aligned with customer demands, inventory levels, and capacity constraints
  • Utilize SAP, MRP (Material Requirements Planning), and other ERP systems to plan and monitor production activities
  • Collaborate with manufacturing teams to coordinate assembly, process improvements, and workflow optimization
  • Analyze supply chain data to identify bottlenecks and implement strategies for process improvement
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate procurement activities to ensure timely availability of materials
  • Support plant management by providing insights into production efficiency, quality control metrics, and operational KPIs
  • Lead initiatives for lean manufacturing practices and continuous improvement projects to enhance productivity
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality protocols, and manufacturing regulations
  • Prepare reports on production performance, capacity planning, and supply chain analytics for leadership review
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in production planning or operations management within a manufacturing environment
  • Strong knowledge of SAP, ERP systems, MRP processes, and supply chain management principles
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing methodologies, process improvement techniques, and quality control standards
  • Mechanical knowledge or understanding of manufacturing processes is highly desirable
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Ability to analyze complex data sets to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • Effective communication skills for collaboration across departments including plant management, assembly teams, and suppliers
  • Bachelor's Degree
