Set up fixtures and welding equipment; adjust heat and travel rate for welds to ensure quality;
Operate GMAW and potentially SAW welding processes on various equipment;
Load and unload fixtures; direct helper when needed; maintain clean and safe work area;
Inspect completed parts, record production counts on time card/move ticket, and ensure adherence to tolerances on blueprints;
Assist new operators in learning safe operation of equipment and perform preventive maintenance on welding equipment
