As a Security Officer - Patrol Driver in Madison, IN
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As an unarmed, driving Patrol Officer at a utilities location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, remain highly visible, and respond to security‑related concerns with calm, clear communication. You will document observations, report unusual activity, and support site teams and visitors with customer‑focused service.

Pay Rate: $15.85 / Hour
Job Schedule: Monday – Friday 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM

- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a utility location.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, and notify site contacts and/or public responders as required by post orders.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, operational areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and/or hazardous conditions.
- Control access by monitoring entrances, verifying identification and/or authorization, and directing visitors, contractors, and deliveries per site procedures.
- Complete shift activity reports and incident documentation, communicate noteworthy conditions to Allied Universal leadership and/or site personnel, and follow established communication protocols.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
