As a Security Officer Patrol Driver in Madison, IN
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as utilities. You will patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support daily operations through strong customer service and communication. In this role, you will reflect our agile, reliable, and innovative approach, working with a caring team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

Pay Rate: $18.20 / Hour
Job Schedule- Saturday 07:00 AM – 07:00 PM
- Sunday 07:00 AM – 07:00 PM
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a utilities location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and sharing details with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and/or unauthorized access.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials when required, and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or hazardous conditions according to site protocols.
- Support daily operations by completing assigned reports, maintaining awareness of weather and site conditions, and communicating clearly with supervisors, coworkers, and/or client representatives.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
