Logistics Coordinator

Our client, in Madison Indiana, is seeking a 2nd shift Logistics Coordinator. As a Logistics Coordinator you will be part of the Logistics Department supporting the Operations Team. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Location:

Madison, Indiana

Pay Range: $21.00/hr

Shift: 2nd Mon - Fri 12:30pm - 9pm. Overtime and possible weekends as needed

What's the Job?

Monitor shipments, delivery activity, scheduling, planning, and routing issues with on-site customers and contracted carriers.
Maintain accurate customer profile information and enter loads into the Freight Optimizer system.
Update account managers and customers on load status, problem loads, and actions taken.
Verify timely and condition-appropriate delivery of loads, including taking check calls from drivers.
Investigate product overages, shortages, damages, and complete necessary documentation.

What's Needed?

At least 1 year of logistics experience.
General knowledge of the transportation industry.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Proficiency in data entry and routine report writing.
High School Diploma or GED
