Job Summary
Assists with accounting support work and bookkeeping, such as documenting transactions, processing payments, and preparing invoices to ensure the accurate recording and reporting of financial transactions.
Job Responsibilities- Assists with the daily operations of the department.
- Performs routine accounting activities such as receiving, processing, and updating financial transactions for an organization or team.
- Process Travel Authorizations and Travel Reimbursement Vouchers for faculty and students.
- Process departmental request for payments for faculty and students.
- Assist with accounts receivable and payable and other similar financial transactions.
- Assist with acquiring quotes for lab supplies.
- Process departmental laboratory orders.
- Calculates, posts, reconciles and verifies duties to obtain primary financial data.
- Reconcile accounts and payroll monthly.
- Process requisitions to maintain a purchase order.
- Maintains timelines for job completion and monitors completion of tasks.
- Serves as backup for front office when needed.
- Performs additional similar or related duties as assigned or required.
High School (Required)

Compensation$20.50 - $30.76
