Quality Control Manager
Ander Corp is seeking an experienced Quality Control Manager to lead, implement, and oversee project-specific quality control programs that ensure our work consistently meets the highest standards of safety, craftsmanship, compliance, and client satisfaction. This role is critical to the successful delivery of our projects from preconstruction through closeout. You'll work closely with field leadership, project teams, subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and building officials to ensure all construction activities, inspections, testing, and documentation align with contract requirements, building codes, and industry best practices.

Lead the implementation and management of project-specific quality control plans. Promote and support Ander Corp's strong safety culture alongside field management teams. Develop site-specific quality programs that ensure compliance with contract documents and applicable standards. Perform and document preparatory, initial, and follow-up inspections throughout all phases of construction. Coordinate required testing and inspections while maintaining accurate records and compliance documentation. Monitor materials, workmanship, and construction activities to ensure they meet project requirements.
Identify, document, and facilitate timely resolution of quality deficiencies. Participate in subcontractor meetings, preparatory meetings, and project coordination efforts. Assist with submittals, RFIs, punch lists, closeout documentation, and warranty turnover. Conduct routine project walks and provide recommendations to support successful project outcomes. Build strong relationships with clients, trade partners, consultants, and project stakeholders. Support continuous improvement efforts and stay current on industry best practices.
- High School Diploma or GED
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field
- 10+ years of construction experience
- Strong understanding of construction means and methods
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents
- Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel
- Experience implementing and managing quality control programs on commercial construction projects
- Familiarity with construction technology and project management software
- Working knowledge of Lean Construction principles and practices
- Strong understanding of project documentation processes, RFIs, submittals, inspections, and closeout procedures
- Ability to effectively coordinate with multiple trades and project stakeholders
