About the Position

Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Physician

Required Skills:
Active medical license in the state of Mississippi (or eligible via IMLC)
Board-certified or Board-eligible in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation
Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Ability to adhere to hospital policies, regulations, and documentation standards
Commitment to patient-centered care
Nice to Have
Skills:
Experience in inpatient rehabilitation settings
Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
Previous experience working within CMS and The Joint Commission guidelines
Ability to manage multiple cases efficiently
Preferred
Education and Experience:
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
Completion of an accredited PM&R residency program
Prior clinical experience in a rehabilitation hospital or related setting preferred
Other Requirements:
Valid state medical license or eligibility for licensure in Mississippi
Willingness to participate in scheduled admissions, rounding, and weekend/night call coverage
Documentation must be complete and timely at all visits
Must include notes on electronic timesheets for OT and callback
