Join Our Team as a Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Specialist

Required Skills:
- Valid medical license in the state of practice, in good standing
- Board certification or eligibility in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation
- Proven experience in inpatient rehabilitation or physiatry services
- Strong understanding of CMS, The Joint Commission standards, and healthcare regulations
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
- Proficiency in electronic health record documentation and adherence to documentation standards
Skills:
- Additional certifications in pain management or related fields
- Experience working in hospital or rehabilitation facility settings
- Familiarity with telemedicine and electronic medical systems
- Bilingual abilities to serve diverse patient populations
Education and Experience:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution
- At least 2 years of clinical experience in a rehabilitation setting
- Active medical license with no restrictions or history of disciplinary actions
- Certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is a plus
- Ability to work scheduled hours from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., with flexibility for night call (5 p.m. to 8 a.m.) and weekend coverage
- Must complete documentation at the time of each visit
- Participation in inpatient admissions, rounding, and documentation in compliance with hospital policies
- Willingness to provide coverage as needed, with potential for additional resources during summer 2026
- Active license and clean professional history; IMLC acceptance may be considered later
Hourly Pay Rate: $1.00
