Position: Worship Pastor (Madison Campus)

Overview

The Worship Pastor provides spiritual, pastoral, and strategic leadership for the Worship Ministry at Pinelake’s Madison campus. This leader is responsible for cultivating a healthy worship culture by making disciples, developing staff and servant leaders, and equipping teams to lead others toward Jesus through Christ‑centered worship.

  • Lead

    • Walk others through the Discipleship Pathway (Essentials → JCL → Be the Church), helping them discover and take their next step.
    • Shepherd people, not just programs, by listening for where God is at work in their story and walking with them toward transformation.
    • Equip and release others by developing Servant Leaders and multiplying disciples who Learn from Christ, Live in Christ, and Lead others to Christ.
    • Measure success by life change, spiritual formation, and multiplication—not just attendance or activity.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and oversight for all worship and production ministries and environments at the Madison Campus.
  • Recruit, equip, schedule, and develop staff and servant leaders.
  • Embody a Jesus‑Centered Life and build a culture of discipleship in the Worship Ministry.
  • Supervise, coach, and develop the Worship Associate, Next Gen Worship Associate, and Production Director.
  • Partner with the Lead Pastor of Worship and the Pinelake Worship One Church Team to implement worship strategy, programming, and resources.
  • Contribute to the planning of weekend worship services and special events as led by One Church Team.
  • Build healthy ministry systems for planning, communication, scheduling, execution, and evaluation.
  • Establish ministry goals, evaluate effectiveness, and lead continuous improvement.
  • Steward ministry budgets, gear and resources with wisdom and accountability.
  • Work collaboratively with campus and One Church ministry leaders to support the overall mission of the church.
  • Complete administrative responsibilities and other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities

Lead and supervise the Worship Associate, Next Gen Worship Pastor and Production Director. Supervise and coordinate work with servant leaders.

Qualifications

Education and Experience Required
  • Bachelor’s degree as a minimum.
  • Four to six years of applicable experience leading worship, as well as parallel leadership of staff and servant leaders.
  • Must also exhibit proficiency in leading worship from a primary instrument.
Language Skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work with a diverse group of people.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively on the telephone, e‑mail and in person, demonstrating tact and diplomacy.
