The Universal Banker is a full-time, on-site role based in Madison, MS, responsible for providing comprehensive banking services to retail customers. This role includes handling daily transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, and payments, balancing cash drawers, and ensuring accurate recordkeeping. The Universal Banker assists customers with opening and maintaining accounts, explains product features, and supports loan inquiries and applications. The role also involves resolving customer questions and concerns, promoting bank products and services, and following all policies and procedures to ensure compliance and security.

Team members collaborate closely with branch staff to deliver efficient, friendly service and support overall branch goals.

• Ability to manage deposits and other transactional services with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong customer service skills, including relationship-building and problem resolution.
• Reliable cash handling experience, including balancing drawers and managing currency responsibly.
• Familiarity with consumer banking products and basic loans processes, or willingness to learn.
• Clear and professional communication skills, both verbal and written, with active listening abilities.
• Basic proficiency with computers, banking systems, and standard office applications.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in business or finance is beneficial.
• Prior retail banking, financial services, or cash-handling experience preferred.
• Ability to work on-site in Madison, MS, maintain punctuality, and contribute positively to a team environment.
