A position in the Information Technology department responsible for overseeing the testing activities for our software applications, ensuring they meet the highest quality standards. The individual will work closely with the IT Leadership team to define a vision for both project related testing activities as well as automated testing activities such as regression testing for updates or changes. Implementation of this vision will involve coordinating with cross-functional teams, designing test strategies, managing test plans, and leading a team of testers to execute testing processes.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, extensive experience in software testing, and a keen eye for detail.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field is required.
• Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in software testing, with at least 2 years in a lead or supervisory role.
• Must have a strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and software testing methodologies.
• Must have working knowledge of test management applications (e.g., SAP Cloud ALM or HP ALM) Must be proficient in test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Worksoft, Tricentis).
• Must have experience with various testing types, including functional, regression, performance, and security testing.
• Must have a strong understanding of different testing methodologies (e.g. Waterfall, Agile).
• Must have experience with cloud-based testing environments and tools.
• Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Must have excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Must have strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and mentor team members.
• Functional experience in SAP core modules and Salesforce is a plus.
• Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE) is a plus.

• Build and manage a team to support all testing activities. This team may be made up of internal employees and external consultants.
• Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive test strategies and schedules for projects, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.
• Design, develop, and execute test cases, scripts, plans, and procedures (both manual and automated).
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, project managers and other stakeholders to understand requirements and identify testing needs.
• Oversee the execution of test cases, including functional, regression, performance, and security testing.
• Ensure that all defects are documented, tracked, and resolved in a timely manner.
• Identify, analyze, and report test results, ensuring accurate and detailed documentation of findings.
• Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including developers, project managers, and business analysts, to provide regular updates on testing progress and outcomes.
• Implement and maintain best practices for quality assurance and testing processes.
• Stay up to date with industry best practices and emerging trends in software testing and quality assurance.
• Continuously evaluate and improve testing processes, tools, and techniques to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the testing team.
• Identify potential risks and develop mitigation plans to ensure the stability and reliability of software applications.
• Drive the adoption of automated testing tools and processes to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
• All other duties as assigned.
