Maintenance Technical Intern

Location: Corinth, MS

Role Term: Full‑time for one year, onsite at the Corinth GNW, MS Plant.

This role supports production and quality by ensuring proper operation and upkeep of manufacturing equipment, with a focus on safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

• Build talent on Kimberly‑Clark systems and equipment by performing maintenance duties.
• Safely support production and quality by ensuring proper operation and upkeep of manufacturing and supporting equipment.
• Rotate through all areas of the plant as part of training for a shift technical or day maintenance position.
• Provide expertise and coordination for technical activities with a high level of technical skill.
• Ensure maintenance activities are accomplished within mill area teams to support mill and department objectives.
• Drive continuous improvement in safety, quality, and productivity and own machine uptime.
• Ensure corrective and preventive action for all machine non‑conformances and support operating crews when needed.
• Be a visible leader of Lean principles (engagement, leader standard work, zone control, problem solving).

• 18 years or older and authorized to work in the United States.
• High school diploma, GED, or Grade 12 certificate.
• 3+ years of maintenance electrical troubleshooting experience supporting an industrial or manufacturing operation, OR a 2‑year associate’s/technical degree (preferably in Electrical Technology/Industrial Maintenance) or substantial progress toward completion.
• Basic computer knowledge, strong mechanical aptitude, and good math skills.
• Successful completion of a skill knowledge evaluation required for consideration.
• Ability to maintain a 12‑hour rotating shift schedule, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
• Demonstrated personal sensitivity, technical knowledge, and leadership with a strong work ethic and self‑motivation.
• Capability to perform the physical requirements of the role and be reachable by phone for issue resolution.
• Successful completion of a pre‑employment assessment, drug screening, background check, and the pre‑hire Physical Abilities Test (PAT).

• Experience with Rockwell Automation PLC and mechanical repair.

Starting Hourly Wage: $22.00 USD (eligible for overtime pay). This rate applies only to U.S. locations.
