About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced and dynamic Program Manager to oversee impactful community development initiatives in the Western Cape . This role involves leading project teams, managing budgets, and ensuring the successful execution of programs designed to uplift local communities. You will work at the intersection of strategic planning and on-the-ground implementation, coordinating efforts to achieve measurable outcomes. The position requires a blend of strong leadership, project management expertise, and a deep understanding of the non-profit sector, offering a unique opportunity to shape community well-being.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the planning, execution, and evaluation of community development programs.
- Manage program budgets, ensuring financial accountability and efficient resource allocation.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with community stakeholders, government agencies, and partner organizations.
- Supervise and mentor program staff and volunteers, fostering a collaborative team environment.
- Develop monitoring and evaluation frameworks to track program progress and impact.
- Represent the organization at community events, meetings, and public forums.
- Master's degree in Social Sciences, Development Studies, Public Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in program management within the charity or non-profit sector .
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex development projects and budgets.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with M&E frameworks and data analysis for program reporting.
- Ability to work effectively in both field and office settings, and adaptability to hybrid work models.
