Are you currently working in construction but looking for a stable, long-term career? If you are tired of spending your evenings writing quotes, chasing down payments, and missing quality time with your family, we have a better way to work.

We are seeking a Multi-Skilled Carpenter to join our growing team. In this W-2 position, you will perform a variety of home repairs and improvements for residential customers. We handle the scheduling, administrative work, and customer service so you can focus on what you do best: solving problems and working with your hands. With consistent year-round work, a stable Monday-through-Friday schedule, and absolutely no nights or weekends, you can finally build a career that respects your personal life.

We believe in clear, transparent pay based on your actual skill level. Your starting hourly rate is determined by your experience and capabilities, with clear pathways to earn more as you grow:

  • Level II Craftsman ($27.00/hour): All Level I skills, plus finish carpentry, basic flooring installation, deck repairs, and light electrical/plumbing troubleshooting.
  • Level III Craftsman ($30.00/hour): All Level II skills, plus multi-day project execution (like tile backsplash, door/window installations, and custom deck builds) with a verifiable portfolio.
  • Level IV Craftsman ($35.00/hour): All Level III skills, plus advanced plumbing and electrical knowledge, kitchen/bathroom upgrades, and the ability to mentor and train other team members.

Additional benefits include:

  • Consistent schedule: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday (no nights or weekends)

What Success Looks Like

On a day-to-day basis, you will arrive at scheduled residential jobs in your own reliable truck or van, equipped with your own tools. You will greet homeowners with a friendly, professional attitude, assess their repair needs, and complete the work to a high standard of craftsmanship. You will use a company-provided tablet application (Service Titan) to manage your schedule, log job details, and process completed work.

Over time, success means building trust within our community. Many of our customers regularly request their favorite craftsmen by name for repeat projects. You will succeed here if you take pride in the details, enjoy working independently on diverse projects, and value clean, respectful communication with clients.

What You Need to Bring (Must-Haves)
  • Proven experience in residential carpentry, home remodeling, or maintenance trades
  • A reliable work vehicle (truck or van) capable of transporting tools and materials
  • A personal, comprehensive set of hand and power tools to support your craft
  • A valid driver's license and a clean driving record
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for daily customer interaction
  • Comfort using basic technology (smartphones or tablets) for scheduling and job tracking
  • Ability to pass a standard background check and drug screening
Nice-to-Haves
  • A verifiable portfolio or photos of past carpentry, tiling, or remodeling projects
  • Advanced troubleshooting skills in residential plumbing or electrical systems
  • Experience estimating materials and timelines for multi-day projects
