Key Responsibilities:
* Teach three (3) courses per semester that are applicable to the fields of Public Health and Environmental Studies.
* Core teaching responsibilities include Introduction to Public Health and Geographic Information Systems (GIS).
* Additional course offerings will be determined by programmatic needs and the candidate's area of expertise. These may include, but are not limited to, Environment, Society, and Sustainability;
Social Determinants of Health;
Environmental Health; and Advanced GIS.
* Advise majors and minors in Environmental Studies and Public Health.
* Contribute to the ongoing support and development of these programs, including development of experiential learning courses and opportunities.
* Be an active and engaged member of the Drew community through participation in departmental and college service.
Required
Education and Experience:
The successful candidate should have a PhD in Public Health, Environmental Studies, or a related area by August 2026.
Preferred
Education and Experience:
Interest and experience in teaching and working with undergraduate students at a liberal arts institution is preferred.
