Job Summary

We are seeking a hands‑on IT Support Specialist to join our small IT team at a mid‑sized law firm in Madison, NJ. This role provides high‑quality, firm‑wide professional support and covers a wide range of responsibilities from end‑user support to network and cloud troubleshooting. The ideal candidate is comfortable working independently, taking ownership of issues, and supporting a professional services environment with discretion.

Experience with Microsoft 365, Azure AD, Intune, and Net Documents is strongly preferred. This position is hybrid with 4 days in the office and 1 remote and will report to the Director of IT. Availability for occasional after‑hours coverage, as business needs require, is expected.

Responsibilities
  • Provide responsive, professional support to end users via phone, email, and in‑person.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and cloud application issues.
  • Manage Microsoft 365, including email, Teams, One Drive, and SharePoint.
  • Administer Azure Active Directory accounts and permissions.
  • Support Net Documents, Mimecast, Litera, and other SaaS applications.
  • Reimage and configure devices using Microsoft Intune.
  • Diagnose network connectivity issues, including IP addressing, DNS, and DHCP troubleshooting.
  • Assist with office technology, including AV equipment and phone systems.
  • Document IT procedures, configurations, and incident resolutions.
  • Occasional after‑hours support may be required to address urgent issues.
Required

Skills & Qualifications
  • 3–6 years of IT support experience, preferably in a law firm or professional services environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Information Technology
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for end‑user devices, applications, and network connectivity.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365, Azure AD, and Intune.
  • Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and basic networking concepts.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills with a professional demeanor.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Net Documents, Mimecast, SharePoint, or Litera products.
  • Familiarity with legal IT environments or SaaS‑heavy firms.
  • Relevant Microsoft or CompTIA certifications (such as M365, Azure, Network+, or Security+).

Pay: $80,000-$100,000
