Analyst – Materials Science Team, Materials Review Committee (MRC)
The Analyst supports the MRC mission to proactively identify, assess, and mitigate material‑related supply risks that could impact clinical and commercial CAR‑T manufacturing.
Responsibilities- Perform material risk scenario analyses in alignment with MRC playbooks, including assessment of supply disruption likelihood based on input from supply chain regarding inventory levels and supplier lead times.
- Support MRC RPN (Risk Priority Number) mapping for direct materials across CAR T products, incorporating supply considerations.
- Develop and maintain scenario‑based analyses to evaluate mitigation options such as engaging with Supply Chain for assessment of safety stock, alternate sourcing, and dual sourcing.
- Consolidate and interpret data from multiple sources (materials, suppliers, sites, and supply chain planning) into clear, decision‑ready outputs.
- Partner with Supply Chain Planning to support execution of planning actions tied to MRC identified risks, including safety stock assessments and dual source enablement.
- Maintain structured datasets, models, and documentation supporting MRC analyses and decisions.
- Identify opportunities to improve MRC analytical tools, templates, and playbooks to increase efficiency and consistency.
- B.S. with 4 years of experience or M.S. with 1 year of relevant experience in Supply Chain, Engineering, Life Sciences, Data Analytics, or a related discipline.
- Experience performing risk assessments, scenario analyses, or supply chain modeling.
- Strong data analysis and data management skills; ability to synthesize complex datasets into actionable insights.
- Ability to interpret technical, operational, and supply chain documentation.
- Experience working in cross‑functional, matrixed environments.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including preparation of executive‑level summaries and decision materials.
- Ability to operate with limited direct oversight while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Familiarity with raw materials, consumables, or single‑use systems used in cell therapy or biologics manufacturing is a plus.
- Experience supporting safety stock strategy, dual sourcing, or business continuity planning is a plus.
Fifty percent onsite, Monday through Friday normal business hours.
Contract AssignmentThis assignment is a contract with ASK Staffing to provide services to Bristol Myers Squibb.
CompensationHourly compensation range $34.00 – $36.24 per hour.
