Read more:  .Position Summary The Executive Director, Value Chain Management Lead (VCL) - GO Teams is a senior enterprise leader responsible for maximizing product value across the commercial lifecycle by leading Global Operations (GO) Teams and end-to-end value chain strategy for marketed products and pipeline assets.

As lifecycle owner, this role integrates commercial, development, manufacturing, supply chain, quality, regulatory, technical operations, and financial considerations into product strategies that optimize patient supply, launch execution, profitability, risk management, and portfolio value.

The Executive Director serves as senior Value Chain Lead and strategic integrator across the Global Business Unit, ensuring alignment from late-stage development through launch, growth, maturity, LOE, and product exit while driving GO Team governance, operational excellence, value realization, and enterprise decision-making.

Operating in a highly regulated environment, this role ensures decisions involving GMP, supply chain, manufacturing, quality, regulatory, and business continuity considerations are supported by appropriate governance, risk management, compliance, and operational rigor.

Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership and Lifecycle Management Set strategic direction and provide executive governance for assigned GO Teams, ensuring accountability for lifecycle strategy, value creation, supply continuity, and enterprise decision-making.

Develop integrated lifecycle strategies that maximize product value, patient impact, operational performance, and financial outcomes.

Lead matrixed teams across key functions to align priorities, investments, lifecycle opportunities, and enterprise risks.

Architect for decision of portfolio, sites, lyfe cycle management, network, including a view of compliance, quality, safety, financials, digital/AI and supply

Development, Launch, and Supply Readiness Partner with Product Development, CMC, Regulatory, Commercial, and Supply Chain teams to shape commercialization and lifecycle strategies that enable successful launches.

Influence development-stage decisions that strengthen supply flexibility, manufacturing robustness, launch readiness, network design, and cost structure.

Lead launch governance, readiness reviews, risk mitigation, and contingency planning to reduce launch risk and accelerate speed to market.

Supply Resilience and Operational Performance Develop resilient supply strategies that protect patient access, product availability, and business continuity.

Drive collaboration across Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Technical Operations, Procurement, and Quality to optimize network performance and supply reliability.

Govern demand planning, inventory, capacity, sourcing, operational risk, and continuity decisions that balance service, profitability, compliance, and supply continuity.

Value Optimization and Lifecycle Transitions Lead initiatives that maximize product profitability, lifecycle value, operating margin, and product availability.

Optimize network design, sourcing strategy, SKU rationalization, batch size, inventory, shelf life, packaging, distribution, and cost of goods.
