Overview
At Whole Foods Market, we’re committed to providing record‑setting grocery delivery services to Whole Foods Market On Amazon (WFMOA) customers. The Team Leader, E‑Commerce role will drive execution of product, labor, and customer demand metrics and serve as the front‑line contact for team members and business partners.
Responsibilities- Oversee daily operations for WFMOA customer delivery and pick‑up orders, labor, regulatory compliance, and special projects.
- Lead Associate Team Leaders, Supervisors, and team members to fulfill Whole Foods Market customer orders.
- Hire, train, and address the needs of team members so they can focus on customer satisfaction.
- Communicate with Store Leadership to improve KPIs and ensure compliance with standard operating procedures.
- Maintain awareness of customer flows and direct team members to meet customer needs promptly.
- Oversee creation of the In‑Store Shopper Team schedule to meet staffing metrics and capacity.
- Review hourly, daily and weekly scheduling and order volume to support incoming WFMOA orders.
- Foster a positive environment of teamwork, mutual respect, and exceptional morale for the In‑Store Shopper/E‑Commerce Team and cross‑functional partners.
- Provide timely, thorough, and thoughtful performance evaluations.
- Maintain cleanliness of all department areas, including staging areas, coolers, and inventory, ensuring supplies are well‑stocked and properly rotated.
- Model and consistently support WFM Leadership Principles and Core Values.
- At least 24 months of retail experience, including 12 months in a leadership role.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- Prior experience leading high‑volume teams.
- Willingness to take ownership, work overtime during peak seasons, and flexible to work nights, weekends, and other shifts as needed.
- Proficiency with email, Microsoft Office, and operations‑related applications (scheduling and ordering software).
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, operations, or a related field.
- Ability to thrive in an ambiguous environment and meet deadlines.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; comfortable with public speaking and writing.
- Analytical mindset and data‑driven approach to problem solving.
- Track record of volunteering for projects and driving results.
- High energy, enthusiasm, and affinity for Whole Foods Market products, core values, and company philosophy.
- Deep knowledge of new products, item location, pricing, and awareness of industry trends and competitors.
- Long‑term thinking and recognition of large‑scale impact on the company.
The wage range for this position is $23.60 to $42.50 hourly, commensurate with experience. Whole Foods Market offers a full “Whole Benefits” package for full‑time and part‑time team members, including eligibility for a store discount, paid time off, financial wellness, health & wellness support programs, and other perks. Eligibility is determined by the applicable Whole Benefits plan at the date of hire and may vary by location, length of service, and job type.
