Overview

Supervisor - Hilltop Bicycles – Madison, NJ. Specialized seeks a Supervisor to balance a passion for people and retail excellence, lead a team on the floor, and provide outstanding rider service to ensure satisfaction and support store goals.

• Deliver world-class rider service to maintain high levels of rider satisfaction and support sales objectives.
• Engage with riders, ask questions to understand needs, and provide options and advice to meet those needs.
• Inspire riders, celebrate purchases, and create a positive, lasting impression of the specialist, Specialized, and the purchase process.
• Provide transformative, inclusive, ride-focused, locally authentic, and collaborative experiences for staff and riders.
• Assist in maintaining visual merchandising standards, restock as needed, and keep presentation areas clean and organized.
• Maintain general cleanliness standards at store opening, throughout the day, and reset at close, including light janitorial duties.
• Use company literature and available training to stay current on product features.
• Maintain regular, dependable attendance and punctuality.
• Perform opening and closing responsibilities when the store manager is absent.

• Passion for cycling and the Specialized brand.
• Bike shop experience preferred; 1+ years of retail experience preferred.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with riders and team members.
• Ability to work as the business dictates, including weekends.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, with occasional walking, kneeling, or reaching.
• Physical ability to lift at least 50 lbs. or more with proper lifting techniques.
