- One year of recent experience as an RN in a long‑term care setting
- Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS (AHA/ARC) or CPR certification
- ACLS Certification
- Other certifications may be required depending on facility requirements
- Assess patient or resident health, monitor for changes, and take appropriate action to ensure well‑being
- Develop, update, and implement personalized care plans in collaboration with residents, families, and the care team
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
- Observe residents for medication reactions or changes in condition and report concerns to the provider
- Provide wound care, IV therapy, catheter management, and other skilled procedures within scope of practice
- Supervise and support LPNs and CNAs, delegating appropriately and ensuring quality care
- Educate residents and families on medications, treatments, and chronic‑condition management
- Document care, resident progress, and any health changes promptly
- Respond quickly to emergencies, delivering critical care and coordinating with medical teams
- Work closely with physicians, therapists, and other professionals for coordinated care
- Perform duties within scope of practice as assigned
- Adhere to facility safety protocols, infection control guidelines, and regulatory standards
- Critical thinking, service excellence, and strong interpersonal communication skills
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and communicating in English
- Ability to interpret written and verbal instructions and basic PC skills
- Physical:
Able to remain stationary or move equipment (50‑100lbs), push, pull, and bend - Interpersonal:
Able to work effectively with diverse personnel and maintain professionalism - Technical:
Able to perform fine manipulation, assist with procedures, and operate department equipment - Mental:
Able to handle frequent public contact, meet deadlines under pressure, and work both under supervision and independently; manage irregular schedules and maintain concentration - Sensory:
