Technical Accounting Manager

Our client is an organization in the Milwaukee County area that’s looking for a Manager
. Our client is looking for someone with 4+ years of experience, excellent leadership skills, and a strong business acumen. This company offers flexibility, competitive benefits, and a great work/life balance. This position is hybrid.

The salary for this position is up to $94K - $120K.

The Manager will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

• Assist with research and analysis of technical accounting matters and document conclusions.
• Support the preparation of external financial reporting, including required disclosures and supporting schedules.
• Monitor emerging accounting guidance and assist with implementation efforts.
• Coordinate with external auditors and prepare supporting documentation for audits and reviews.
• Maintain and update accounting policies, procedures, and related documentation.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives related to accounting, financial reporting, and internal controls.
• Support special projects, system enhancements, and other business initiatives as needed.

The Manager will possess the following:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field; CPA preferred.
• 4+ years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and interest in technical accounting and external reporting.
• Workiva experience is a strong plus.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with SAP for ERP and/or One Stream for consolidation a plus.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
