Accounting Clerk

Job Description

A major telecom company is hiring for an Accounting Clerk 1 to join their high energy and adaptable Business Planning group. This accounting clerk would be joining a team comprised of 1 other Accounting Clerk 1, as well as 4 other Accounting Clerk 2. Day to day, the accounting clerk would assist with operations including PO creation, receiving and processing invoices and adding new vendors.

80% Project funding/PO creation

20% receiving and processing invoices

Skills and Requirements

• Keyboarding, ability to utilize microsoft office apps as well as learn new applications as needed

• Basic to intermediate Excel skills

• Time management and attention to detail are VERY important to this position

• Work fully on site in Madison, WI
• Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Econ or similar
