For more than 20 years, Ridge Top has built its reputation one customer at a time, delivering exceptional roofing, siding, windows, and gutters throughout Wisconsin. Today, they're entering an exciting new chapter of growth and we're looking for a Controller to help lead it.

This isn't just a reporting role.

We're looking for someone who enjoys building strong accounting processes, partnering with operations, and helping leadership make informed business decisions. Someone who wants a seat at the table and not just a seat behind a spreadsheet.

This is a full‑time in‑office position located at 4620 Dovetail Dr, Madison, WI 53704.

• Lead the monthly and annual close process
• Own the general ledger, journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations
• Prepare accurate monthly financial statements and management reporting
• Oversee AP, AR, payroll, and cash management
• Develop budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis
• Partner with operational leaders to improve profitability
• Strengthen accounting processes and internal controls
• Coordinate audits and tax preparation
• Assist in a future system migration

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Experience with full‑cycle accounting and month‑end close
• Strong understanding of accrual accounting and GAAP
• Construction accounting experience is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• CPA preferred but not required
