Senior Payroll Specialist

We are hiring a Senior Payroll Specialist for a biotechnology partner. You will handle core payroll processing, ensure seamless integration between Workday and ADP, and serve as a trusted guide for internal teams and team members.

• Process multi-state U.S. payroll efficiently while ensuring full compliance and accuracy
• Oversee daily integrations between Workday and ADP, reviewing employee files and pay profile changes
• Manage employee deductions, HSA contributions, tax with holdings, and timecard imports
• Serve as a key point of contact for employee payroll questions, leaves of absence, and audit requests
• Partner with accounting on month-end and quarter-end accruals and assist with tax agency registrations

• Experience managing multi-state payroll processes and tax regulations
• Hands-on experience using ADP and Workday platforms
• Strong understanding of payroll deductions, HSA/FSA administration, and general ledger accruals
• Excellent communication skills with a proven track record of maintaining strict confidentiality
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to mentor junior team members
