WHO YOU ARE

As a Payroll Specialist based in our Madison, WI facility, you will be assisting the Controller with biweekly payroll for 5 companies. Duties and responsibilities include processing payroll, maintaining time‑keeping records, reviewing payroll and payroll reports for accuracy, and maintaining accurate set up and tax filings federally and in multiple states and jurisdictions.

YOUR PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES
  • Entering data into databases and spreadsheets
  • Handling direct deposit requests and data
  • Processing payroll
  • Entering new hire paperwork
  • Processing paper checks for distribution
  • Acquiring all necessary signatures to distribute payroll
  • Processing wage garnishments
  • Update payroll reports
  • Oversee Bamboo

    HR Payroll System
  • Making adjustments in pay for raises, bonuses and commission
  • Oversee company business insurance policies
  • Enter payroll vendor bills
  • Enter payroll journal entries

  • High School diploma (or equivalent)
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent excel experience
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently manage time
  • Strong organization and data entry skills
