Edgewood University is seeking a full‑time Undergraduate Admissions Experience Coordinator. This dynamic on‑campus position directly impacts the student experience at Edgewood and serves as the first point of contact for campus visits. The Coordinator will assist with planning, preparation, and execution of campus visitor experiences as well as support marketing projects, review policies and procedures, and coordinate activities within the Undergraduate Admissions Office.

Working closely with the Assistant Director of Undergraduate Admissions‑On‑Campus Experience, the Coordinator will increase offerings for prospective students, families, and visiting groups to ensure a positive time on campus. The role includes oversight of student workers, recruitment of schools and community groups, enhancement of virtual visit opportunities, and collaboration across campus to strengthen relationships. Administrative support for the Admissions office—purchasing, stocking, and managing supplies and visit materials—is also a key responsibility.

Responsibilities

Customer Service for Undergraduate Admissions Visit Experience
  • Assist in all aspects of the campus visit experiences including scheduling, pre‑visit communication, greeting, and hosting guests.
  • Participate in all on‑campus events both during and outside of traditional working hours.
  • Work with the Assistant Director of UG Admissions‑On‑Campus Experience on new and upcoming events.
  • Coordinate and schedule appointments with faculty and staff.
  • Provide frontline customer support and day‑to‑day office operations.
  • Respond to or triage phone and email inquiries.
  • Organize and manage the distribution of print projects.
  • Supervise student workers.
Coordinator for the Undergraduate Admissions Team
  • Provide administrative support for the Admissions Office by coordinating and collaborating on processes across campus.
  • Review admission team’s calendars and coordinate availability for campus visits.
  • Schedule and plan check‑ins with various departments to ensure counselors have up‑to‑date background knowledge.
  • Purchase, assemble, stock, and manage supplies and materials.
Other Functions
  • Perform independent special projects.
  • Serve on institutional committees, such as search committees, as an Enrollment Management representative.
  • Keep up to date with university, departmental, and professional changes in the field.
  • Contribute to the campus in ways that advance its mission and create a positive and inclusive environment.
Job Qualifications Necessary Education or Work Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree required; additional related work experience may be substituted for the degree requirement.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service with the ability to react to customers professionally, quickly, accurately, and compassionately.
  • Higher‑education experience preferred.
  • Preference for a bilingual candidate with proficiency in Spanish.

  • Proven ability to work effectively as a team member.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data and make independent decisions.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and research skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Ability to adapt to and welcome interruptions in a positive and friendly manner.
Specialized Technology Skills
  • Overall proficient skill‑level in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Publisher) and basic computer concepts.
  • Willingness and ability to learn new software.
