Job DescriptionPride Staff is working with a local industry partner who is seeking an experienced Office Assistant to join their team in their regional production facility. The Office Assistant will be responsible for managing daily administrative tasks in a production facility such as maintaining inventory records, ordering supplies, tracking production, and supporting payroll processing in a fast‑paced industrial environment.
The ideal candidate is a highly organized multi‑tasker who has prior experience working within an industrial setting and thrives in a supportive administrative role. This is a full‑time, temp‑to‑hire position in Sacramento, CA. Specific training will be provided for this temp‑to‑hire role.
Job Responsibilities- Perform general clerical duties, including answering phones, data entry, filing, and managing office correspondence.
- Receiving materials delivered by truck.
- Correspondence by email with vendors, corporate contacts, etc.
- Maintain accurate inventory records, monitoring stock levels and performing reconciliations.
- Tracking production and reporting to the corporate facility.
- Assist with payroll processing tasks, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies.
- Act as a point of contact for internal staff and external visitors, maintaining a professional and organized environment.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure seamless operations and communication.
- Complete special projects and administrative tasks as assigned by management.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment, following all standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Limited phone activity.
- Proven experience in dispatch, inventory management, and payroll processes.
- Must be comfortable communicating with internal staff.
- Must be computer literate, with basic typing skills and experience using Outlook.
- Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office – use of Excel and Word.
- Safety‑toed shoes are required.
- Must be reliable and dependable with consistent means of transportation.
- Exceptional organizational, time management, and multi‑tasking skills.
- Must be 18+ years old.
- Must be willing to submit to a pre‑employment background check.
- Must be willing to submit to a drug screen.
- Must be able to provide proof of eligibility to work in the U.S.
