Job Summary
We are seeking a Collision Estimator to perform all-purpose duties, including writing estimates, conducting process reviews, checking in customer vehicles, completing final customer paperwork prior to vehicle delivery (delivery request, final invoice), finalizing total loss administration, and providing post‑repair communication with customers. The role also involves maintaining compliance with Caliber safety rules, guidelines and company standards.
Responsibilities- Write estimates for vehicle repairs
- Conduct process reviews and quality checks
- Check in customer vehicles and ensure accurate vehicle records
- Complete final customer paperwork prior to vehicle delivery (delivery request, final invoice)
- Finalize total loss administration and post‑repair plan communication
- Provide vehicle status updates to customers
- Ensure all activities comply with Caliber safety rules, guidelines and company standards
- Immediate eligibility for medical, dental and vision coverage
- Industry‑comparable pay with weekly payment
- Paid vacation and holidays, accruing from day one
- Paid skilled training and certifications (e.g., I‑CAR)
- Career growth opportunities with internal promotion
- At least 2 years of collision estimating experience; sales experience preferred
- Minimum age 21 years
- Valid driver's license and eligibility for coverage under Caliber’s insurance policy
- Motor Vehicle Physical Damage Appraisers License (required)
- Prior experience with CCC1 or similar estimating software
- Physical ability to perform consistent physical activity—reach below and above shoulder level, kneel, bend, squat, and lift objects over 50 lbs
- Advance understanding of repair processes and procedures
- Strong sales orientation
- Ability to understand written and verbal instructions
- Excellent prioritization skills and adaptability in a fast‑paced environment
