Supplier Management Program Lead--Madison, WI

We are seeking an experienced Category Manager/Procurement Professional to serve as a Supplier Management Program Lead
, responsible for helping design, build, and operationalize a comprehensive Supplier Management program. This role will partner closely with Category Managers and cross‑functional stakeholders to strengthen supplier performance management, improve risk visibility, and enhance ongoing supplier monitoring.

• Lead the development and rollout of a Supplier Management Program, including frameworks, governance, and operating models
• Partner with Category Managers to improve supplier performance management, accountability, and continuous improvement
• Establish and enhance supplier monitoring processes across:
  • Financial health
  • Business continuity
  • Cybersecurity and privacy risk
  • Operational and strategic risk
• Develop supplier performance metrics, scorecards, and risk indicators
• Analyze supplier and spend data to identify risks, trends, and improvement opportunities
• Support enterprise‑wide adoption of supplier management best practices through change management and stakeholder engagement
• Collaborate with procurement, finance, legal, risk, IT, and business leaders to ensure alignment and consistency
• Provide clear, executive‑ready insights and recommendations related to supplier performance and risk exposure

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in Supplier Management, Vendor Management, Strategic Sourcing, Category Management, or Procurement
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex supplier and risk data into actionable insights
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Master's degree or MBA
• Experience building or scaling supplier management or governance programs
• Background in program development, implementation, or organizational change initiatives
• Experience with process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, or similar)
• Hands‑on experience with ERP and procurement platforms (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Coupa or similar)
• Proven ability to influence stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership
• Experience supporting risk management, supplier governance, or compliance initiatives
