Business Analyst SQL

Beacon Technologies is seeking a Business Analyst III for our client partner. The Business Analyst is responsible for ensuring development teams have complete and accurate business requirements, business partners have considered their needs vs. their wants in their projects and ensuring quality control by testing web applications, reports etc. that have been developed. The Business Analyst is also expected to provide excellent customer service by driving and facilitating JAD sessions, demos, feedback loops, and UAT testing processes with the customer.

The individual coming into this role must have strong communication skills and be a team player because they will be working so closely with the entire technical project team and will be involved with business area partners. Open to nationwide candidates. This position is currently 100% remote.

• Expert SQL skill/ability to navigate and query a relational database (5 + years).
• Candidate should be able to work on multiple projects per business priority.
• Looking for a strong practitioner with experience in business requirements elicitation and documentation. (8 years), data mapping and data analysis (7 years), requirements verification, creating use cases, process flow diagrams, reporting and quality assurance as primary job responsibilities.
• Creating and maintaining artifacts such as requirements traceability matrices (8 years).
• Strong analytic and problem-solving skills.
