Senior Business Systems Analyst

Our client, a government agency in the public sector, is seeking a Business Analyst/Consultant to join their team.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong analytical thinking, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location:

Madison, WI - Candidates must be CURRENT WI residents. No relocation allowed. This position will be working a hybrid schedule with at least 2 days in office per week.
Duration: 6+ months with highly possible extension

• Lead business process documentation and design to improve operational efficiency
• Gather and analyze requirements to support project development and implementation
• Develop functional designs and collaborate with technical teams to ensure solutions meet business needs
• Apply quality assurance and software testing methodologies to ensure deliverables meet standards
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including executives, to facilitate project success

• 7 or more years of experience in business analysis and process documentation
• Advanced knowledge of requirements gathering and business process design
• Strong understanding of project management principles and practices
• Proficiency in quality assurance and software testing methodologies
• Excellent interpersonal and professional communication skills
