T‑Fiber is growing fast. As our Sr. Analyst, Business Intelligence, you will translate raw market data into insights that drive decisions. You will dig into penetration rates, add rates, churn, preorder cancel rates, and competitive dynamics to surface insights that power strategy.

Job Responsibilities

Market Performance Reporting

  • Build and maintain recurring performance reports covering penetration, add rate, churn rate, and preorder cancel rate across all active markets.
  • Track performance vs. targets and clearly communicate where we are winning, where not, and what is driving the gap.
  • Prepare clean, executive‑ready readouts that translate complex data into a simple narrative leaders can act on.
  • Maintain and evolve dashboards that give stakeholders real‑time visibility into market health.

Analysis and Insight Generation

  • Go beyond the numbers—layer in demographic, socioeconomic, and competitive data to explain the why behind performance trends.
  • Identify underperforming markets early and provide context on root causes (competitive pressure, build maturity, pricing, demographics, etc.).
  • Run ad hoc analysis as business questions emerge, including A/B testing, market segmentation, and opportunity sizing.
  • Collaborate with business partners to validate findings and pressure‑test assumptions before they reach leadership.

Tools and Data Infrastructure

  • Extract, transform, and analyze data from internal sources using SQL, Power BI, Tableau, Amazon Quick Sight, and Excel.
  • Build performance models and scenario analysis in Excel—pivot tables, trend modeling, and large‑dataset manipulation.
  • Develop and standardize reporting templates that the team can rely on and replicate.
  • Engage early on new initiatives to define data and reporting requirements before systems are built.
  • Also responsible for other duties/projects as assigned by business management.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Prioritization and organization: manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver under tight timelines in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Independent execution: self‑direct, identify needed tasks, and complete them.
  • Data analysis and interpretation: strong analytical mindset to interpret trends across penetration, conversion, churn, and subscriber growth drivers.
  • Business problem identification: strong business acumen and understanding of go‑to‑market performance levers.
  • Communication across levels: translate complex datasets into clear, compelling executive narratives, adapting to technical depth vs. plain language.
  • Excel: pivot tables, large‑dataset modeling, performance trending—daily tool.
  • Power BI / Tableau / Quick Sight: proficiency in at least two.
  • Performance modeling: build models that answer “what happens if…” questions around market performance.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree plus 5 years of related work experience OR advanced degree with 3 years of related experience; acceptable areas:
Business, Statistics, Economics, Data Analytics or similar.
  • 4 years of data analysis, business intelligence, or performance reporting experience.
  • 4 years of SQL experience with performant querying of large datasets.
  • 4 years of Tableau (or similar BI tool) dashboard development and data visualization.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience building presentations or reports for a senior or executive‑level audience, and contributing to executive‑level business reviews.
  • Experience working with large‑scale data environments (e.g., AWS Redshift, Azure, Databricks).
  • Experience analyzing telecommunications, broadband, or subscription‑based businesses.
  • Familiarity with competitive intelligence, market demographics, or socioeconomic data sources.
  • Background in a startup or high‑growth environment where ambiguity is the norm.
  • At least 18 years of age.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States.
