Position: Senior, Vendor Governance Analyst (Hybrid: Madison, WI/Waverly, IA)

Job Purpose

This position supports the Strategic Vendor Governance office by providing performance analytics, insights, and operational support across strategic vendor relationships. The role focuses on tracking vendor performance, identifying trends and risks, and ensuring governance processes are consistently executed.

Job Responsibilities
  • Performance Tracking & Analytics
    • Collect, validate, and analyze vendor performance data (CSLs, SLAs, KPIs, vendor scorecards).
    • Monitor trends, identify risks or deterioration in performance, and elevate issues accordingly.
    • Maintain standardized dashboards and scorecards for leadership and executive reviews at the vendor and enterprise level.
    • Independently analyze vendor performance and risk indicators, surfacing insights and recommendations to governance leadership.
    • Identify emerging performance, financial, and operational risk indicators and proactively raise potential issues.
  • Governance Operations Support
    • Support governance cadence, including QBRs, monthly/quarterly reviews, and formal issue management reviews.
    • Prepare executive‑ready materials summarizing vendor performance, risks, action plans, and financial impacts.
    • Track vendor commitments, remediation actions, and follow through on agreed outcomes.
  • Financial & Contract Support
    • Assist in tracking contract performance, savings, credits, penalties, and benefits realization.
    • Support renewal and renegotiation efforts by compiling historical performance and commercial insights.
    • Maintain accurate documentation of governance decisions and artifacts.
  • Stakeholder & Vendor Coordination
    • Act as day‑to‑day point of coordination for governance data requests and reporting for key strategic vendor relationships and enterprise‑wide program data.
    • Partner with Procurement, IT, Finance, and Risk to ensure accurate and timely information flow.
    • Support compliance with governance standards and documented processes.
    • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between internal teams and external suppliers.
Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, Analytics, or a related field (required). 5+ years of experience in procurement, vendor management, operations, finance, or analytics, with a demonstrated ability to manage complex analyses (required). Experience with outsourced service providers or complex third‑party relationships (preferred). Strong data analysis and reporting skills; experience with Excel, Power BI, or similar tools (required). Experience with contract lifecycle management (CLM), vendor risk management tools, and ERP/reporting platforms (preferred).

Ability to synthesize complex data into clear, executive‑ready insights. Strategic thinking and executive presence. Vendor performance and relationship management expertise. Financial analysis and value realization. Risk identification and escalation management. Change management.

Compensation and Benefits

• Base Salary Range: $83,100.00 - $. Possibility of an annual incentive (bonus) plan. Additional benefits include medical, dental, vision, employee assistance program, life insurance, disability plans, parental leave, paid time off, 401(k), and tuition reimbursement, among others.
