Eurofins Scientific is an international life sciences company, providing a unique range of analytical testing services to clients across multiple industries, to make life and our environment safer, healthier and more sustainable. Job Description

Business Analyst
- Commercial Strategy

The Opportunity

You'll work directly with senior commercial and operational leaders within Eurofins Food Testing to shape strategy, evaluate growth opportunities, and build the analytical foundation for decisions that span business units, geographies, and service lines. If you've spent time in consulting and are ready to go deep in a single industry, one with genuine complexity, global scale, and real stakes, this is a compelling next step.

What You'll Do

  • Analyze commercial performance across Eurofins Food Testing's service lines including pesticide residue, nutritional labeling, authenticity, microbiological testing, and more, identifying margin drivers, growth levers, and underperforming segments
  • Build financial models to evaluate pricing strategy, capacity investment decisions, lab network optimization, and M&A or partnership opportunities
  • Translate competitive intelligence into strategic positioning recommendations
  • Support the annual planning cycle and quarterly business reviews with analysis that goes beyond the numbers
  • Partner with Business Unit leaders, executives, and commercial teams to surface operational and revenue insights
  • Monitor regulatory developments and model their commercial implications for Eurofins' U.S. food testing portfolio
  • Develop business cases, market entry assessments, and investment memos that hold up under executive scrutiny
Qualifications
  • 5-8 years of professional experience, with at least 2–3 years in strategy consulting or corporate strategy
  • MBA preferred; strong candidates without an MBA, who are pre-MBA are equally welcome
  • Exceptional financial modeling skills: clean, auditable, built to be handed off
  • Experience in food, agriculture, life sciences, or a similarly regulated industry is a strong plus
  • Able to synthesize complex data into clear executive narrative in writing and in the room
  • Comfortable in a decentralized, matrixed organization where influence matters more than hierarchy
