** Job Responsibilities*
* ** Leadership & People Management*
* + Lead and develop teams of bioanalytical scientists focused on LC-MS in support of preclinical and clinical studies.

+ Provide performance management, coaching, career development, and succession planning for direct reports.

+ Establish training plans and ensure team readiness for current and future business needs.

+ Lead recruitment, onboarding, and retention initiatives for scientific staff.

+ Foster a collaborative, accountable, and inclusive team culture.

** Scientific & Technical Leadership*
* + Serve as a subject matter expert in LC-MS/MS bioanalysis.

+ Support internal teams and clients through scientific consultation and problem-solving.

+ Stay current with emerging bioanalytical technologies, regulatory expectations, and industry best practices.

+ Partner with commercial and project teams on study strategy, feasibility assessments, and client interactions.

** Operational Excellence*
* + Ensure laboratory activities are appropriately resourced, scheduled, and executed to meet client timelines.

+ Monitor departmental metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

+ Support forecasting, project costing, and revenue recognition activities.

+ Ensure compliance with GLP, GCP, SOPs, quality standards, and safety requirements.

+ Lead corrective and preventive actions as needed to address operational or client concerns.

** Client Engagement*
* + Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.

+ Participate in sponsor meetings, scientific discussions, and business development activities.

+ Represent the organization at scientific conferences and industry events.

** Qualifications*
* ** Minimum Qualifications*
* + Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related scientific discipline.

+ Significant experience, 5 years or more in regulated LC-MS bioanalysis.

+ 5 years or more of demonstrated success leading scientific teams in a regulated laboratory environment.

+ 3 years or more experience working in a GLP, GCP, and bioanalytical regulatory requirements role.

** Preferred Qualifications*
* + Advanced degree (MS or PhD) in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related scientific discipline.

+ 6 years or more of experience managing people leaders in larger scientific organizations.

+ 6 years or more experience driving operational improvements, business metrics, and laboratory productivity initiatives.

+ Documented scientific publications, conference presentations, or recognized technical expertise in bioanalysis.

** Additional

Job Skills *
* + Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

+ GLP/GCP and bioanalytical regulatory requirements experience.

** Salary:**  $130, annually

All job offers will be based on a candidate's skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.

The position is also eligible for an annual bonus under the Labcorp Bonus Plan.
