Job Summary
Join the Department of Radiology at the University of Wisconsin‑Madison School of Medicine and Public Health as an Event Coordinator and play a key role in supporting a wide range of events that advance a world‑class academic and healthcare mission. In this position, you will lead the planning and coordination of events, bringing people together in meaningful and engaging ways.

Additional Requirements- Work may be performed in‑person on campus or remotely off‑site as needed; evening and weekend events may be required.
- Schedule is flexible and will be determined at the time of hire.
- Position requires heavy lifting/moving up to 50 lbs.
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills, including effective collaboration, maintaining professional relationships, and working under pressure while meeting tight deadlines.
- Assist with planning and creation of promotional materials and resources for events.
- Greet customers/guests, assist with registration, answer questions, and refer complex issues to appropriate entities.
- Monitor and process event‑related transactions, data, and records.
- Schedule logistics and secure resources for all aspects of events, including space, vendors, and staff; coordinate details and resolve operational issues.
- Communicate with customers to determine event details and requirements, evaluate requests, recommend service plans and pricing, and provide status updates.
- At least 1 year of professional experience in event planning.
- Experience providing customer service, administrative support, or similar.
- Experience scheduling and organizing complex event logistics with attention to detail.
- Experience with digital communications, event registration, and survey creation.
Bachelor's Degree preferred.
