The Manager for Strategic Market Development must be committed to the mission, vision, and values of Thermo Fisher Scientific through ethical behavior. This position requires critical thinking and working with all key partners.
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in science and/or degree in Business Marketing (MBA strongly preferred)
Experience:
- 5+ years of progressive career growth and experience in marketing, product management and / or sales leadership roles or relevant experience
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
- Highly developed commercial and business acumen; an ability to recognize growth opportunities and capitalize on them
- Possess ability to understand advanced level of technical product knowledge
- Experience working in a multinational company with demonstrated ability to lead effectively and get results in a matrixed management operating environment
- Effective communicator (verbal, written and presentation), with a demonstrated ability to influence through clear communication. Fluency in English is required
- Ability to understand, analyze and assimilate complex issues, draw accurate conclusions, and formulate clear strategy and policies
- Possess a continuous process improvement mentality with the ability to manage change
- Advanced skill in use of Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment, to build strategic relationships and networks
- Open to travel up to 25%
