We're hiring a Policy Analyst for a public health agency focused on community nutrition and enrollment programs. If you thrive on taking complex regulations and turning them into clear, actionable guidelines that directly impact community members, this role offers a great opportunity to apply your skills. As a Policy Analyst, you will evaluate program requirements, coordinate policy updates, and collaborate across teams to ensure public assistance programs run smoothly and meet all state and federal standards.
Responsibilities:

• Analyze state and federal guidelines to develop and update program policies
• Create and maintain policy handbooks, forms, and official documentation
• Serve as a knowledgeable resource for internal teams, local agencies, and partner organizations
• Identify areas for process improvement across program systems and eligibility workflows
• Coordinate program updates with division leaders and external stakeholders

Skills:

• Proven experience analyzing, interpreting, and applying complex policies or regulations
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain intricate details clearly
• Background in eligibility systems, enrollment processes, or public assistance programs preferred
• Excellent organizational skills to manage competing priorities independently
• Ability to build strong relationships with agency staff and external community partners
