Operations Manager
We are hiring a Quality Assurance Manager to join our Madison Operations Team!

The Quality Assurance Manager (QAM) will oversee the quality program from preconstruction through project closeout. This position participates in constructability reviews, supports critical meetings and inspections, oversees quality audits, and helps guide punch list and warranty efforts. Working closely with project teams and leadership, the QAM helps resolve issues proactively, capture lessons learned and strengthen continuous improvement across future projects.
Responsibilities- Preconstruction
- Develop the constructability review schedule
- Provide Stevens preferred structural and architectural details and document results in the Constructability Review Organization Sheet (CROS)
- Assist with the constructability review process in partnership with Preconstruction Managers and Operations Team.
- Post-Contract
- Review CROS and correction logs with the project team to monitor progress
- Confirm constructability issues are resolved and properly documented
- Ensure subcontractor pre-installation meetings are completed and documented
- Attend key pre-installation and coordination meetings
- Participate in mockup reviews and verify required submittals are completed
- Perform routine project quality control audits
- Escalate unresolved quality concerns to the Construction Executive
- Punchlist
- Attend internal Stevens punch list meetings to stay aligned with the project team
- Ensure areas are prepared for the owner punch list walkthrough
- Recommend process improvements to increase punch list efficiency
- Warranty
- Regularly review the open warranty log with the Warranty Manager
- Track quality concerns and capture lessons learned to support future projects
- 3+ years of experience with a commercial general contractor, construction management firm, engineering firm, or architecture firm in a Project Manager, Superintendent, Quality Manager, or Architect role
- Strong ability to review architectural plans for quality and cost implications
- Proficiency with software used to review digital plan sets
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to build strong working relationships with clients, subcontractors, and team members
