Electrical Project Manager
Location:
Madison, WI (travelling to projects throughout WI) Salary: $100K-$160K (salary depends on experience)
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Superintendent or Electrical Project Manager to oversee electrical construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems and construction management, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise electrical construction projects, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other trades to facilitate efficient project execution.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Prepare and review project schedules, budgets, and reports, providing updates to stakeholders as necessary.
- Ensure that all electrical work is performed in accordance with NEC standards and local codes.
- Participate in project meetings and collaborate with project managers and other team members to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Provide training and mentorship to junior staff and electricians on site.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager, or in a similar role within the construction industry.
- Ground up electrical experience with some combination of Commercial, K12, Hospitals, Retail, Data Center, Manufacturing, Warehouses, Hospitality, Light Commercial
- Strong understanding of electrical systems and construction processes.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with project management software and tools.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and practices in electrical construction.
