Project Manager - Commercial Construction Madison, WI Full-Time
Salary: $115,000 - $125,000 + Benefits
Our client, a well-established commercial general contractor, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead projects from preconstruction through closeout. This individual will be responsible for managing budgets, schedules, subcontractors, client relationships, and overall project execution while working closely with field and office teams.
Key Responsibilities- Manage all phases of construction projects from planning through completion.
- Oversee bidding, budgeting, subcontractor buyout, and procurement.
- Coordinate project schedules, permits, contracts, and project documentation.
- Manage submittals, RFIs, change orders, pay applications, and cost controls.
- Lead project meetings and maintain strong communication with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
- Ensure projects meet quality, safety, schedule, and budget objectives.
- Support and mentor Project Engineers, Superintendents, and other project team members.
- Oversee project closeout and commissioning activities.
- Proven experience managing commercial construction projects.
- Strong understanding of budgeting, scheduling, contract administration, and project financials.
- Experience with subcontractor management, client relations, and project documentation.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software.
- Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to visit project sites as needed.
