Marketing Graphic Designer

Responsibilities

• Develop concepts, designs, edits and proofs compelling creative, content, promotional and/or marketing materials
• Provides hands‑on design and production services from concept to execution for a full range of digital and print collateral
• Uses rationale to present creative concepts and can defend work based upon strategy inputs
• Has a comprehensive understanding of direct response creative drivers and develops designs that deliver customer‑centric results
• Leverages a comprehensive understanding of audience to develop compelling creative that drives action
• Visually communicates complex information through simplified, relevant creative
• Ensures alignment with brand, business area, production, and compliance standards
• Maintains defined standards and voice
• Uses performance data to iterate and improve creative assets
• Updates and maintains internal databases of design, imagery, photography, and video
• Completes and leverages departmental direct response best practices training

• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design closely related field, or equivalent work experience
• 5 years in professional graphic design capacity
• Excellent design ability and advanced skill level using Adobe Creative Cloud:
  InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop
• Strong attention to detail and deadline‑orientation, ensuring consistent, timely, and accurate work
• Experience working in collaborative environments
• Ability to self‑manage and follow guidelines
• Ability to manage projects
• Ability to take feedback and implement it into work products
• Diverse, relevant work samples
• Experience designing for the financial services or credit union industry a plus
