The production coordinator will work between editorial, design, sales and marketing departments and be the point person for all communications with the printer and other magazine vendors. What You'll Do Manage the production flow of all print magazine assets, including editorial, advertorial, print ads, and special projects Coordinate across stakeholders in editorial, design, sales and marketing to ensure deliverables are finalized on time Compile reports for printer, newsstand consultant, circulation auditors and other vendors Contribute to audience, circulation, and customer service duties Support all-hands-on deck projects at the magazine, including events, Best of Madison and other promotions What You'll Bring Experience 1-2 years of experience as a project coordinator or project manager is preferred Skills Ability to balance several projects at one time and effectively meet multiple deadlines a month Strong critical thinking skills and professional approach to communication with coworkers and outside sources/stakeholders Advanced proficiency managing timelines and deadlines with calendars, spreadsheets, and other planning mechanisms Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy
Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of print production workflows and commercial printing processes Background in managing magazine circulation and audience development
Experience with content management systems (CMS) and web publishing Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Teams, One Drive) What Madison Magazine offers:
